Monday Mindset

We often confuse worry and concern. If we love, we are concerned. But, more worry doesn't mean more love. Concern asked the question What can i do?, because I care and prompts action. Worry asks the question, What If?, rehearsing futures we can't control and fills us with anxiety because we don't know the outcome. We feel like we are doing something because we rehearse it our minds over and over but it is not productive. Worry is like a rocking chair, it doesn't get you anywhere but it gives you something to do. We mistake worrying about something for loving it or being concerned and doing something about it. There is other fuel for forward motion, choose to be excited, pray and do the next right thing, not having to have it all figured out before we act. Worry is believing that God won't get it right!

Exactly what I needed to hear this morning! You've been on my mind & in my prayers. Hope you have a great week.
